When I was working on this piece, I was collaging words and images onto the surface that were celebrations and affirmations of my worthiness. For some reason the words “blue chair” and “pink dress” popped out for me. At first I thought of literally painting those things, but then I realized that it was more of a metaphor. The blue sky wearing a pink dress. The clouds, like the flounces on a lovely party dress. The earth is full of the glory of the Lord and I am too!
