Rich colors and vibrant tile patterns grace the architecture of Portugal. These are testaments to a vibrant culture, full of character and joy. Strolling the streets of Porto, I was struck by the exuberance of the architecture, so full of life, so present. But also being lovingly restored and maintained. The residents obviously take pride in their homes, and Porto sits like a jewel on the necklace that is the Douro River.
